Rob Clare — author, teacher, blogger, and dad

 

Rob Clare is an Australian children’s author, educator, and former Head of Primary with a passion for creating books that entertain, educate, and spark curiosity.

 

Drawing on years of experience in schools, educational leadership, and publishing, Rob writes stories that combine humour, imagination, and meaningful learning experiences for children. His books explore topics ranging from emotions and decision-making to science, anatomy, world cultures, and absurd adventures in outer space.

 

Rob is the author of multiple children’s titles including Mima’s Choices, Morgan’s Organs, Hello, Goodbye Around the World, A to Z of Feelings and Emotions, Don’t Shake This Book, Everything in the Universe is Either a Potato or Not a Potato, and The Minklestonks and Planet Aaaarg.

 

He has also worked as a content writer and editor for Firefly Education’s award-winning English Stars program and writes the parenting blog Just Dad It.

 

Originally from the UK and now based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Rob continues to create humour-driven children’s books designed to make kids laugh, think, learn, and ask questions.
